In 2018, Jordan Brand and Union Los Angeles joined forces to create the stunning Air Jordan 1 High “Storm Blue”. The concept was born from the idea of blending various Jordan 1 pairs to revive an OG design. Originally, it was a high-top shoe, but sneaker artist Jonathon Millar (jsm_801_customs) has reimagined it as a low-top, offering a fresh look for sneakerheads.

A Closer Look at the Design
The custom “Storm Blue” edition takes inspiration from the original Union collab but in a low-top silhouette. It combines white tumbled leather with “Storm Blue” overlays and a blue leather Swoosh.
The red “Bred” leather ankle flap from Union’s design is now part of the heel on this low-top version and features the iconic wings logo on the heel tab.
It also includes yellow zig-zag stitching on the tongue and the top of the eyestays, with the UN/LA tag hanging from the Swoosh.
The design finishes with an off-white midsole for a vintage look, a blue rubber outsole, and a pair of vibrant yellow laces.
What We Love About the Sneakers
The sneaker artist has closely recreated the aesthetic of the original collaboration, offering fans a chance to appreciate a similar design in a new silhouette. If you were a fan of the OG Union collab but prefer low-tops, this custom pair is a great choice.
