Brathwaite fittingly reimagined the Jordan 3 (more specifically the “Black Cat” colourway) for his PS3-inspired design. He incorporated the PS symbol onto the heel tabs and has also altered the toe and heel accents to include an “XO” pattern akin to the console’s controller buttons. The shoe’s eyelets have also been painted in different colours as another reference to the controller buttons.
The rest of the “Black Cat” look remains untouched. You still get to enjoy the black nubuck uppers, patent leather mudguard, and elephant print laces.
The PS3 has definitely been a popular choice for custom design inspiration. It isn’t really a surprise, given it’s considered to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing PlayStation systems out there.
