Thanks to an early unboxing video doing the rounds on social media, we’ve already got a solid look at the much-anticipated AJ4 ‘Lemonade’ well before Jordan Brand’s official unveiling. Standout features include the croc-textured leather and the all-yellow color scheme, both of which are turning out to be pretty divisive.

What the “Lemonade” Air Jordan 4 Looks Like
The name gives away exactly what the sneaker looks like. It’s lemonade yellow. Really tough looking yellow crocodile-embossed leather covers almost the entire upper. The color extends to the eyestay wings, the tongue tag and basically everything else. The result is a shoe that sort of has a reptilian sheen to it, which is different to the sneaker’s usual flat-leather finish. Turn the shoe around and on the heel you’ll find a debossed Nike Air mark on one side and Balvin’s upside-down smiley logo on the other. The good news is that it still sticks closely to Tinker Hatfield’s original 1989 silhouette – including the visible Air-Sole unit and molded plastic wings.

Fans first caught a glimpse of a multicolor patchwork pair of AJ4s on Balvin’s feet during a seven-hour concert in Medellín in November 2025, and then again at the Sueños Music Festival in Chicago. These were gifted to DJ Khaled as a one-off, with ‘Lemonade’ being the actual retail version.

Love it or not, Balvin’s massive fanbase is what could tip the scales toward empty shelves.
