The MCU and its iconic hero have entered a new era with the release of the latest Captain America film. To commemorate this new chapter, the folks at Sneaker Fortress have created two Brave New World Jordan concept sneakers inspired by Captain America’s famous shield.

A Closer Look At The Design
The designs of these Air Jordan 7 and Air Jordan 11 concepts are in stark contrast. To begin with, the Air Jordan 7 has a bolder design with red accents on the collar and toe and blue side panels. Even though the tongue, midsole, and laces are done in crisp white to offer balance, the colourway is still very striking overall.
The Air Jordan 11, on the other hand, offers a more subdued splash of colour with its plain white upper, red lacing loops, and blue heel tab. It’s a more refined and versatile take on the theme but still does enough to pack a punch.
Yet despite all the differences, Caps’ shield on the laces helps to link both designs to each other while simultaneously paying homage to the beloved character. It’s a nice touch that Marvel fans will appreciate.
What We Like About The Sneakers
The Jordan 6 has already starred in a superhero film, with Michael Keaton’s Batman wearing a modified version of the iconic model in his 1989 film. This is probably why it doesn’t seem out of place to see Jordan 7 sneakers dressed in the colours of another superhero. And the fact that Captain America’s signature colour scheme could inspire two very different looks is something we can truly ‘marvel’ at (excuse the pun). Still, we also appreciate that there are components that perfectly unify these two looks.
