The MCU and its beloved hero have entered a new era with the release of the latest Captain America film. To usher in this new chapter, the folks at Sneaker Fortress have created two Brave New World Jordan concept sneakers inspired by Captain America’s famous red, white and blue shield.

The design of the Air Jordan 7 and Air Jordan 11 concepts couldn’t look more different. The Air Jordan 7 definitely has bolder colour blocking, with red accents on the collar and toe as well as blue side panels. The tongue, midsole, and laces are done in clean white to offer some balance, but the overall look couldn’t be more loud and proud.

The Air Jordan 11, on the other hand, offers a more subtle splash of colour. It features plain white uppers, with only pops of red on the lacing loops and a touch of blue on the heel tab. It’s a more refined and versatile take on the theme, but still does enough to pack a big punch.
The final touch on both of these pairs is a miniature version of Caps’ shield on the laces. It’s a nice touch that Marvel fans will appreciate.

Of course, the Jordan 6 has already starred in a superhero film. Michael Keaton’s Batman actually wears a modified version of the iconic model in his 1989 film. Maybe that’s why it doesn’t seem out of place to see Jordan sneakers dressed up in the colours of famous superheroes. And the fact that Captain America’s signature colour scheme could inspire two very different looks is something we can truly ‘marvel’ at (excuse the pun).
Unfortunately, these shoes are currently just a concept. But make sure to keep an eye out for any official Marvel kicks related to the Brave New World movie.
