In 2018, Virgin Abloh cast his design eye on the blue and white “UNC” Air Jordan 1 and chose it as the inspiration for one of his 2018 Jordan Brand collaborations. Yet Trottier has taken this design a step further in terms of luxury. He has covered the sneaker in crisp white and calming blue satin fabrics adorned with intricate embroidery.
The white base features Sayagata patterns and floral designs, while the blue overlays carry a floaty cloud detail. It’s rare to see the well-known “UNC” colourway reenvisioned so eloquently and intricately.

The remaining features align closely with its 2018 model. The shoe keeps all the beloved Off-White detailing, including the iconic Helvetica typeface and text on the “shoelaces”. Not to forget the deconstructed profile Swooshes and orange embroidered highlights that make their way onto this custom design.
The look is finished with a clean white midsole and a complementing blue rubber outsole, perfectly in harmony with the extravagant satin upper.
