A Closer Look At The Sneaker
As previously mentioned, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 “Jackboys” design is inspired by the customised BMW M3 E30 from Scott’s 2019 JACKBOYS music video. The shoe features a white base, brown toe box, blue overlays, and a “Since 1991” graphic at the heel, among many other decal details seen on the car. The shoes are set on a white midsole with the Russian term “Cactus Jack” printed on the heel and a black rubber outsole resembling the wheels to finish things off.
What We Like About The Sneakers
It’s safe to say that Bob Ng perfectly translated the details of the BMW M3 E30 onto the Air Jordan 1 silhouette. The colour blocking and shoe decals nail the essence of the exquisite car. We think Travis Scott fans need to add these beauties to their collection because the design brilliantly combines the rapper’s love of cars and sneakers. Plus, they are just pleasing to look at.
