A Closer Look At The Sneaker
As you might expect, these concept sneakers combine premium materials, intricate detailing, and an enduring sense of style. Van Drie imagines two polished and sophisticated Air Jordan 1 designs in striking black and white colourways.
The first pair dresses the AJ1 silhouette in a mesh base, complemented by tumbled leather overlays. This pair is further accented with gleaming patent leather Swooshes and rubber details on the mudguard flap.
When it comes to branding, the pair flaunts black and silver lace dubraes bearing Prada’s iconic triangle logo. This triangular metal plate also features on a chic detachable mini bag that straps across the shoe. Finally, you’ll spot 3D “Prada” text on the heel and again on the black sole unit.
As for the second pair, it comes in a tonal white design. While it mirrors the features of its black counterpart, every single element, including the branding, is in a clean white shade.
What We Like About The Sneakers
It’s difficult not to appreciate the attention to detail in these sneakers’ design. But if we have to choose, our favourite feature has to be the mini ankle bag that fastens around the shoe with leather straps and a buckle. This distinctive element adds a practical touch to the shoe while elegantly nodding to Prada’s legacy in luxury handbags.
Is The Prada x Air Jordan 1 Available For Purchase?
Sadly, as mentioned before, this pair is just a concept, and there is also no word of a teamup between Jordan and Prada in the near future. However, there is always hope.
