A Closer Look At The Eco-friendly Jordan 1 Sneaker
The exquisite Persian rug-inspired fabric used in this handcrafted design combines peach, blue and red tones. It was originally used in The Hundreds x Jason Seife clothing line, which was released back in 2022, but has been refurbished for use on this custom.
However, the most intriguing material choice for this pair has to be the crisp white vegan leather utilised for the overlays and side Swooshes. You couldn’t tell that this sustainable fabric isn’t your standard leather—but it’s made from cactus leaves.
All of this beauty is tied together at the top by a pair of crisp white laces, while the shoe is finished with an icy blue outsole and white midsole below.
What We Like About The Sneakers
The design of this Air Jordan 1 custom is the perfect combination of style, artistry, and sustainability. From the pictures alone, we can’t really tell the difference between the vegan cactus leather material and regular leather, so we’re kind of sold on this environmentally friendly option.
