Though May 4th, also known as Star Wars Day, is a long way off, the force is always strong when it comes to sneakers inspired by the prominent film series. However, this custom “Darth Vader” Air Jordan 4 by Javornie Brathwaite of @jsbthecreator is even more appealing as it was made in memory of the late great James Earl Jones, who provided the voice for the famed character.

A Closer Look At The Design
The greater part of this Air Jordan 4 design is covered in black patent leather, drawing inspiration from Darth Vader’s ominous, dark suit. Brathwaite keeps things consistent by using a matching black for the inner lining, laces, and netting on the sides and tongue.
Extra details on this pair include a scale replica of the villain’s control panel unit on the heel, Darth Vader graphics on the tongue, and his likeness printed on both insoles.
Adding a nod to Darth Vader’s red light sabre, the pair is finished off with a black sole unit with red accents on the outsole and a red Air unit in the heel.
What We Like About The Sneakers
