Jordan Brand and Miami-based shoe store SoleFly joined forces once again to offer sneakerheads an exclusive holiday release. While we were treated to a Jordan 8 inspired by the design of Latin homes last year, this year offers up a unique blend of rich colour and smooth details with the SoleFly x Air Jordan 12 “Cafecito.”

A Closer Look At The SoleFly x Air Jordan 12 “Cafecito”
The shoe pays tribute to the Latin tradition of sharing a cup of coffee, which is why the design begins with a porcelain-coloured cracked leather upper meant to resemble ceramic or Colada cups used for Cuban cafecitos. The smoothness of a well-brewed cup of joe then serves as the inspiration for the buttery brown leather used to make the mudguard. The sole unit, branding, and heel tabs are just a few of the sneaker’s other brown accents. And last but not least, the outsoles subtly reference the motif of the Mi Case Air Jordan 8 from the last year with pattern features inspired by Cuban tiles on the outsole.
What We Like About The Sneakers
Seeing sneaker collaborators convey their ideas through the finer points of a design is always intriguing, and SoleFly did not let us down with their AJ12 inspired by coffee. Although the style feels minimalist, it is premium, and the cracked leather on the AJ12 is unmatched. These are definitely shoes we’re hoping to discover in our stockings this holiday season.
Release Details
This tempting shoe collaboration is planned to drop on December 6th this year. The only location to buy a pair will be SoleFly, and men’s sizes are estimated to retail for about $225 USD.
