Sneakerheads have long envisaged the magic that could unfold from a collaboration between luxury powerhouse Louis Vuitton and the iconic Air Jordan brand. Over the years, many custom designs and concepts have been draped in LV’s classic monogram pattern. However, this visionary piece by Clément Petit of Small Customs offers a more tangible glimpse into what such a partnership might truly look like.

A Closer Look
The design masterfully harmonizes the realms of LV and Jordan Brand. The foundation is a sleek white leather base, accentuated by light brown leather touches on the toe and heel and a roughly textured tan suede strip extending from the eyestays to the heel.
In tribute to Virgil Abloh and Off-White, the sneaker showcases deconstructed Swooshes in rich chocolate brown, stitched with vibrant yellow thread and highlighted by tiny gold LV buttons, along with leather zip ties.
However, the pièce de résistance is the iconic LV monogrammed leather adorning the Air Jordan 1’s ankle flaps. Sourced from a vintage monogrammed tarpaulin bag, this luxurious detail elevates the overall design.
Finishing touches include a crisp white midsole, a brown rubber outsole, and extra gold accents on the aglets, tying the luxurious look together.
Why We Appreciate The Sneakers
This sneaker presents a unique interpretation of Louis Vuitton customs. Unlike other designs that are entirely swathed in the luxury brand’s monogrammed leather, the subtle use of this coveted material on the ankle flaps exudes a distinct and understated elegance.
