Style and Pixar magic meet in the design of these custom Toy Story x Air Jordan 6 “Woody” sneakers by Johnny Skinz.
Design Details
The design truly embodies Woody’s essence, evident in all its remarkable detailing. The distinct yellow and red plaid patterns seen on the underlays are directly inspired by Woody’s signature shirt, while the cowhide pattern overlays provide a nod to the beloved character’s iconic cowboy vest.
From there, the sneaker further embraces Woody’s distinct characteristics with the use of dark denim materials on the heel and collar to mirror his jean-clad figure. The resemblance of his belt and hat is then captured through the presence of brown leather trims on the tongue. Plus, the red lace toggle takes a cue from Woody’s renowned bandana scarf, a minor detail that cannot be overlooked.
To round things off, the shoe utilises re-painted midsoles in red, brown, and black tones alongside flesh-coloured transparent outsoles. But the pièce de résistance for die-hard Toy Story fans would undoubtedly be the ‘ANDY’ inscription on the shoe soles. This culminates in a truly nostalgic and stylish tribute to the beloved Woody.
