Jordan Brand has some exciting plans for 2025, with two “Rare Air” sneaker releases on the horizon. In addition to an exclusive Air Jordan 4 “Rare Air” model featuring a removable tongue patch, Jordan enthusiasts can also look forward to a special edition of the Air Jordan 3 that features a fresh take on its classic branding.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker
This “Rare Air” iteration of the Air Jordan 3 melds a “Black” nubuck base with grey leather, replacing the traditional elephant print detail found on the toe and heel. However, that’s not the change that sets this design apart. The true highlight of this exclusive design is the reversed “Nike Air” branding on the right shoe, adding a unique and unexpected twist to this classic silhouette.
Additional design elements include red accents on the branding, blue highlights on the collar, and “Coconut Milk” details on the heel and midsole, lending a nostalgic touch. The shoe is finished with a grey rubber outsole and a hint of blue at the centre of the sole unit, tying the look together.
What We Like About The Sneakers
Jordan Brand’s “Rare Air” releases never cease to surprise. While the colour blocking pictured in the speculative images below may not be everyone’s favourite, the reversed heel branding is undeniably a cool feature added to this AJ3 design.
