A Closer Look At The Sneaker
Vick Almighty used bleach and Rit Dye to modify the denim overlays of the Air Jordan 1 “Denim,” which was released in 2022. The distressed denim is smeared with yellow, orange, pink, blue, and purple hues to create a gradient effect that resembles a sunset. Even the stitching on the sole unit complements the vivid hues of the upper.
Next, glossy pink accents highlight the collar, while light blue paint covers the sneaker’s base. Finally, the standard Jordan 1 wings branding on the ankle flap has been replaced with 3M Nike logos for an extra unique addition.
What We Like About The Sneakers
Let me start by saying that the gradient dye effect on the overlays is totally captivating. However, I would have preferred that the sneaker’s base remain white to give the overlays their due prominence. In any case, it’s a stunning pair that you can even duplicate yourself in the comfort of your own home.
How To Get The “Arizona Sunset” Air Jordan 1?
For tips and tricks on how to get a similar look, you can watch Vick Almighty create the custom pair on the RESHOEVN8R YouTube channel. To create the sunset effect yourself, just buy a pair of ‘Denim’ Air Jordan 1 sneakers as your base pair and use fabric dye and bleach. But if you’re not sure you can do this yourself, feel free to try having a pair commissioned for yourself by contacting Vick Almighty through his Instagram page.
