Amid all the excitement surrounding the resurgence of several “Black Cat” colourways inspired by Michael Jordan’s nickname, @zsneakerheadz has stepped up to reimagine the Air Jordan 6 “Black Cat”, which was originally released in 2016.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker
It’s been a while since we’ve seen the “Black Cat” 6, and there would certainly be no objection to its return for Jordan Brand’s 40th anniversary next year. However, @zsneakerheadz has suggested a few tweaks to make this colourway even more thematically on point should it return.
To start, the design replaces the OG white midsole accents with a sophisticated all-black midsole, a consistent element across most “Black Cat” colourways.
The leather construction is also exchanged for a black nubuck upper, reminiscent of the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 4 designs within the same theme.
Finally, the look is rounded out with tonal branding and laces, ensuring a sleek and unified appearance.
What We Like About The Sneakers
While an all-black Air Jordan 6 undeniably channels Michael Jordan’s “Black Cat” moniker, it’s hard not to also think of one of the most iconic superheroes of all time—Batman. Michael Keaton sported an all-black Jordan 6 in the 1992 movie Batman Returns, elevating this model’s cool factor. Regardless of which Michael you associate with this sneaker, its sleek design is a definite must-have.
Is The Sneaker Available For Purchase?
At this point, it’s uncertain if sneaker enthusiasts will see an Air Jordan 6 “Black Cat” release in 2025, let alone this reimagined version. However, you can still get your hands on a pair through resale platforms like StockX, but prices range from $200 to $1000 USD.
