2025 is one of the biggest years for Jordan Brand in a long time. The 40th Anniversary celebrations are here. The tariffs are pushing up prices. But also, Nike, as a whole, need to do more to impress sneakerheads that they’re still on the throne. Thankfully, they’ve got a massive list of retros to pull out the archive. But while they’re doing that, they’re also releasing some new gems. And many people seem to be missing out on some of the coolest Air Jordan releases in 2025. These underrated Jordans definitely deserve a second look.
1. Air Jordan 1 Method of Make “Metallic Silver”

The Air Jordan 1 Method of Make V3 “Metallic Silver” drops in 2025 with a bold new look. It ditches the traditional all-leather build for something far more layered. You get a diamond-knit mesh upper that screams Zoom Vomero 5 and the V2K Run. After the minimalist branding of V1, the swoosh is back and bigger than ever. Finally!
2. Air Jordan 1 Low “Sail”

The Jumpman Label has a full lineup of women’s exclusive sneakers planned for 2025, too. This is one of the better releases. It’s simple but the touches of pearls, beads, sequins, and turquoise stones add intrigue to the overall design.
3. Jordan Luka .77 “Quai 54”

Jordan is all about black and yellow for this year’s Quai 54 event in Paris. And nowhere is that more prominent than on the Jordan Luka .77 “Quai 54”. Luka Dončić’s outdoor-focused performance model boasting black uppers, yellow soles, and Quai 54 logos.
4. INFINITE ARCHIVES x Air Jordan 17 Low

Fans of the Jordan 17 were happy to see the sneaker make a comeback in 2024. And despite the model’s hefty price tag, pairs quickly sold out on SNKR. As the Jumpman Label celebrates its 40th anniversary, Jordan Brand appears to be building on the silhouette’s popularity by working with Infinite Archives to release a collection of Air Jordan 17 Lows.
5. Air Jordan 1 High “Self Expression”

At first glance, the Air Jordan 1 High “Self Expression” looks incredibly plain. But it hides some pretty interesting details. Look closer and you’ll see the different colors at play. Also, the black uppers wear away to reveal a multicoloured look underneath, which eventually will fade to white. That’s pretty cool.
6. Air Jordan 4 “Worn Blue”

This sneaker has a distressed two-tone denim upper with sail touches and gold lace dubraes. It reminds us of the Levi’s collab, except it doesn’t have that red tag. It could be one of the coolest Jordan releases of 2025. Now, if sneakerheads would just give it a chance.
Air Jordan 1 Low “Worn Blue”

Another denim sneaker. It seems like Jordan Brand is trying very hard to make denim a thing in 2025. But sneakerheads don’t seem that interested. Yet. The design mixes a pale blue denim base with contrasting white leather overlays. It’s really nice.
8. Air Jordan 11 “Sport Royal”

2025 is also the year of the Air Jordan 11. There are so many drops in so many colors arriving this year. This is one of the ones that most people seemed to be sleeping on. The sleek white uppers and royal blue patent leather mudguard make for a classic.
9. Air Jordan 3 “Starfish”

The Air Jordan 3 “Starfish” is definitely one of the more controversial sneaker releases of 2025. You either love it or you absolutely hate it. This sneaker ditches the elephant print for canvas and bold orange suede. Two years ago, these would’ve sold out in seconds. But now everyone is a lot more picky.
10. Air Jordan 1 Low “Starfish”

A new “Shattered Backboard” Jordan 1 Low, featuring the familiar Black, Starfish, White, and Sail colour scheme, is joining the Jumpman Label’s lineup. However, this pair switches things up with orange side swooshes and a black outsole. If you can’t get your hands on the Jordan High, why not get these? They look great.
11. Air Jordan 5 “Luminous Green”

Jordan Brand’s “Luminous Green” AJ5 colourway hasn’t been on many sneakerheads’ lips, but it has a pretty versatile colourway with just the right amount of pop. The brand has also made some changes by removing the netting on the sides. All you see on the quarters are perforated leather.
12. Air Jordan 1 High OG “Light Madder Root”

This women’s exclusive colourway may be as simple as a sail leather base and rich brown leather overlays, but it’s still the perfect fall sneaker. Imagine these paired with all those earthy fall ensembles. Plus, it has just the smallest hint of pink via the branding. We’re sure even the guys will be wanting a pair when they see these.
13. Jordan Spizike Low “ El Vuelo”

With everyone focusing attention on the Jordan 3 “El Vuela”, it’s easy to have missed this Spi’zike Low iteration. The pair sports snakeskin leather just like its AJ3 counterpart, but leaves out the jagged-edged overlays and green collars. It’s giving perfection.
14. Air Jordan 3 “Family Affair”

Not enough sneakerheads are talking about the beauty that is the Air Jordan 3 “Family Affair”. This pair offers an olive colour scheme with nubuck on the upper and a matching elephant print at the toe and heel. To make this pair even more enticing, JB added a gum rubber outsole underneath. Just look at it.
15. Zion Williamson x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Voodoo Alternate”

Given all the incredible releases lined up for this year, Zion Williamson’s Voodoo-inspired AJ1 low PE has kinda faded into the background. Maybe hype will pick up once we creep closer to the shoes’ October release date, but we definitely think this is one pair that sneakerheads shouldn’t sleep on.
