A Closer Look At Jayson Tatum’s “Mustang” Air Jordan 14 PE
Jordan Brand designed the set of PEs for Tatum in 2022, inspired by his custom 1966 Ford Mustang. The red and black colourways both have velvety suede uppers, chrome piping throughout, quilted leather sections on the side, and soles with a grille-inspired design.
The design also contains a chrome badge on the lateral ankle with Tatum’s name encircling it and the Jumpman insignia in the centre. Plus, the shoes also feature the basketball player’s jersey number on the heel. A
side from colour, the duo have a few distinguishing characteristics. For one, the black pair features glossy patent leather at the toe and eyestays, which mirrors the Mustang’s sleek exterior, while the red maintains the plush suede look.
