Nigel Sylvester isn’t done stacking wins. After 2025’s “Brick by Brick” Air Jordan 4 took top spot for many sneaker fans, the BMX star rolls back in for 2026 with “Brick After Brick.” Blurry leaks flooded the internet for months, but Sylvester finally posted the real thing himself. The colorway is fresh and, yes, it was totally worth the wait.
A Sequel To “Brick By Brick”

The theme of Nigel Sylvester’s first Jordan sneaker was simple. It told the story of building something from the ground up, and was also connected to his pastime hobby: riding his BMX. It was a sneaker made for the streets and meant to bring together sneaker culture and BMX culture. And it worked. Now, “Brick After Brick” continues on the same path.
Sylvester explained it clearly when showing off the sneaker: “‘Brick After Brick’ dives into discipline and consistency it takes to sustain success while continuing to build. Achieving success is one thing. The real challenge is sustaining it.”
Fire Red DNA Is Everywhere

In terms of its looks, the new sneaker actually pays homage to one of the best Air Jordan 4 colorways ever released: the original “Fire Red” edition first released in 1989. That sneaker is the foundation of this new collaboration. And you can actually see it.
Brick Red Takes Control

So how does it differ from the original “Fire Red”? Well, instead of the bright red seen on the classic, Sylvester has swapped out the color for a deeper brick tone (to match his theme). The eyelet wings also ditch black and switch to that darker brick shade. It’s a really subtle change, but it actually alters the entire feel of the shoe. But that’s not all…
The Cream Details Stand Out

One of the most interesting tweaks sits on the mustache panel. Sylvester replaces the traditional material with a cream white piece featuring a brick-like texture. That same cream shade shows up again across the mesh netting and parts of the outsole.
“Bike Air” Makes Its Return

One of the most exciting details on Sylvester’s previous drops was the inclusion of his “Bike Air” branding on the heel of the sneakers. That returns here. It replaces the traditional Nike Air or Jumpman logo you’d normally expect to see on an Air Jordan 4.
The Tiny Swoosh Stays

Another cool touch we saw on Sylvester’s previous sneaker releases was the miniature Swoosh near the lateral toe. And, yes, it’s back here too. Jordan Brand almost never actually adds a Nike Swoosh to the Air Jordan 4. But there it is. And it’s these tiny details that make it stand out.
Hidden Details For Fans

The inner tongue tag that reads “Jordan Biking Co.” too, and the small embroidered bicycle that appears on the inner pull tab are back too. And again, these look great and seperate the sneaker from other Air Jordan 4s.
The Box Gets Its Own Story

Part of owning a pair of exclusive and expensive sneakers is the packaging it comes in. Jordan Brand doesn’t disappoint here. The white brick-textured box continues the sneaker’s theme. An embossed “Bike Air” logo lands in the middle. The internal bag and band from the first release also return.
Release Timing And Price

The bad news is that Jordan Brand hasn’t given us an exact release date yet. The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 “Brick After Brick” is expected to arrive during the summer season 2026. And that means it could be as early as April.
Retail price lands at $225.
A Story Built One Brick At A Time

Nigel Sylvester’s sneaker collaborations with Jordan are turning into something special. These one ones for the history books. His Jordan projects follow a narrative. First came the story about building something from nothing with “Brick by Brick.” Now comes the chapter about keeping that progress moving with “Brick after Brick”. Not every collaboration tries to say something. This one does.
