NBA star Scottie Pippen is finally opening the vault to some of his most prized possessions. And if you collect basketball history, this is your chance to own some of the most important shoes and memorabilia in basketball history. Sotheby’s is running “The Scottie Pippen Collection” from March 2 to March 10, 2026, with select pieces on display at Sotheby’s New York headquarters. Pippen turns 60 this year, and he’s basically saying it’s time to let go of these memories to move out.
Michael Jordan’s signed, game-worn Air Jordan 7s from the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona are also among the collection. Yes, those Dream Team shoes. Pippen kept them all these years. One set of details puts Jordan’s signed 1992 Olympic Dream Team sneakers at more than $1.5 million. Another estimate swings even higher, valuing the pair at up to $2.5 million. Either way, they’ll probably be displayed as a work of art in someone’s home or office soon.
The auction leads with his game-worn jersey from the 1998 NBA Finals, the clincher from Chicago’s sixth title and the final game of the Bulls’ “Last Dance” season. But if you’re here for shoes, you’re in the right place. Two of the three featured pairs tie directly to the 1992 Dream Team’s gold medal run: Pippen’s Nike Air Flight Lite (game-worn and signed) and Jordan’s Air Jordan 7 from the gold medal game, also game-worn and signed. Then there’s a third pair with a different kind of shine: Pippen’s game-worn, signed Air Maestro II from the 1994 All-Star Game, the same night he took MVP after posting a double-double and leading the East to a win.
The collection doesn’t stop at footwear either. It includes Pippen’s 1994 All-Star Game MVP trophy, a Hall of Fame trophy, and six personal NBA championship trophies gifted by Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf. It also stretches into signed memorabilia like jerseys, basketballs, and even Wheaties cereal boxes.
And Pippen’s not acting mysterious about why he’s doing this. “I’ve been so fortunate to have a career filled with unforgettable moments, from winning six NBA championships with the Bulls to be part of the ’92 Dream Team and competing at the highest level with some of the greatest players to grace the court,” Pippen said through Sotheby’s. “Each jersey, sneaker and collectible I’ve kept over the years holds a memory, a feeling, a story of perseverance and teamwork. Now, it feels like the right time to share these pieces and let others carry their stories forward. I’m excited to give fans and collectors the chance to own these special pieces, to connect with the history and memories they represented and to experience a part of the journey I was lucky enough to live.”

Pippen entered the NBA in 1987 as the fifth overall pick, drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics and traded to Chicago. He left as a seven-time All-Star, a six-time NBA champion, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, and a two-time Hall of Fame inductee as both player and Olympian.
