After fifteen long years, the ultra-premium Bin 23 series is finally back, and it’s making its grand return with the Air Jordan 8 in a striking money-green makeover.
If you weren’t around for the original run, Bin 23 was basically Jordan Brand’s luxury experiment. Think crocodile-textured Jordan 2s, metallic-finished 9s, and premium 13s that looked like they belonged in a glass case. Each pair was hand-finished with the now-famous red wax stamp, a mark that told collectors, “Yeah, this one’s different.” Back in 2010, Nike described the line as “exceptional releases conceived for the true connoisseur.” Another press release promised sneakers that were “treasures, worthy of greatness.”
Then, in 2011, the series quietly disappeared. No farewell tour. No final wax stamp. Just gone. Now in 2025, we are receiving reports of the Jordan 6 and 3 getting the Bin treatment. Thankfully, Jordan Brand has confirmed the comeback officially: the Air Jordan 8 Retro Prm Bin 23 is set for Fall 2026.

The style code is IO2053-300, retail is locked at $350, and sneakerheads are already fighting in the comments section over whether this release is a grail or a flop. Why? Because we don’t have real photos yet. All we have are speculative mock-ups showing a Fir green suede upper with cream Muslin accents and red detailing. Some fans are calling it a “trash Bin 23 colorway,” while others are flooding Instagram with “TOUGH,” “Fire,” and “8s are my favorite so YES.” One even dubbed them the “Drake 8s.”
Still, the Bin 23 Air Jordan 8 feels like the crown jewel of the 8s releasing in 2025 and 2026.
