Fresh off winning Best Supporting Female Actor at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards for Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another, Teyana Taylor revealed her next move with Jordan Brand. Enter the Air Jordan 3 “Concrete Rose”.
Jordan Brand dropped the first real look early Sunday via the @jumpman23 Instagram account. The timing felt deliberate. Taylor’s Golden Globe win is still fresh, her Oscars nomination sits right around the corner, and the internet already had opinions. Lots of them. One comment cut straight through the hype: “I hate whoever did this photo shoot. She looks amazing. Yes. However can we ACTUALLY see the shoe?”
Even with that, the details that do show up are cool. The Air Jordan 3 comes dressed in Fir green leather from toe to heel. A removable thorned rose vine wraps the upper, giving the shoe a literal edge. Metallic Gold eyelets pop without trying too hard. A Fire Red rose lands on the tongue. The classic elephant print steps aside, covered by leather, while Cement Gray peeks through underneath. A Gum Brown outsole grounds the whole thing.
One fan wrote on Instagram, “Ohhh gotta get these. 3s are my favorite and my brand color scheme.” Another skipped subtlety: “Yikes!! I need these!” Then the most honest take of all: “Ima b p**sed if I don’t own these.”
This isn’t Taylor’s first run with Jordan Brand. Back in 2023, she launched the partnership with the Air Jordan 1 Zoom Cmft 2 “A Rose From Harlem.” That theme continues here. Roses. Harlem.
