A Closer Look At The Design
The sneaker’s grey nubuck upper and dark grey accents mimic the colour scheme of the SNES console. Additionally, it features a second lacing system made of black plastic that makes reference to the SNES controller cords. To mimic the finer detailing on the console, the heel and wing tabs are then finished in black.
As for the finer features of the design, the shoes are covered in buttons from the controller and console, such as the power and reset buttons on the heel tabs and the red, green, yellow, and blue buttons on the sides. The insoles then honour two iconic Super Nintendo games: Street Fighter II and Super Mario World.
