Jordan Brand will continue to celebrate Mexican culture in 2025 with another sneaker release in recognition of Mexican Independence Day. However, the “El Grito” design will appear on the iconic Air Jordan 3 model this time.

A Closer Look At The Air Jordan 3 “El Grito”
For now, we only have mockup images of the upcoming design to spark our imaginations. It features a sleek “Black” and “Metallic Silver” colourway, which, considering the obvious departure from this year’s Air Jordan 5 design, is not exactlywhat many of us would have anticipated. But you can expect that the shoe will feature distinctive features related to Mexican history or culture, akin to the Air Jordan 5’s red and green accents taken from the Mexican flag and the Talavera-inspired embossed embellishments.
What We Like About The Sneakers
While we’re not sure what direction Jordan Brand is going with the darker colour scheme of this “El Grito” design, we’re excited to see what unique details they add to pay homage to Mexican culture.
Release Details
Although a release date for the upcoming “El Grito” AJ3 has not yet been confirmed, it should occur sometime before Mexican Independence Day on September 16, 2025.
