The Jumpman Label is marking the 40th anniversary of the Jordan 1 model by bringing back several classic colourways. Among these drops is the well-known “Shattered Backboard” high top, which was inspired by Michael Jordan’s 1985 dunk. However, the brand is also releasing an Air Jordan 1 Low “Shattered Backboard” for 2025, so fans can enjoy the iconic colourway in a more casual, summer-friendly silhouette.

A Closer Look At The Air Jordan 1 Low “Shattered Backboard”
While not an exact duplicate of the original “Shattered Backboard” high tops, this low-top iteration shares more similarities with its high-top counterpart than differences. Both designs have a white base with black accents on the collar, toe, and eyestays, and orange highlights at the toe box and heel. For a distinctive touch, the AJ1 Low has a black outsole and orange side swooshes.
What We Like About The Sneakers
With the AJ1 low-top silhouette gaining popularity, it seems only natural for JB to re-imagine their favourite colourways in low-top style. While there have been several “Shattered Backboard” AJ1 low colourways over the years, this style stands out with the orange Swooshes on the side.
Release Details
The “Shattered Backboard” AJ 1 Low will cost $115 USD on Nike.com and at select retailers in Summer 2025.
