Jordan Brand has partnered with streetwear brand Awake NY to create a unique Air Jordan 5 to commemorate the silhouette’s 35th anniversary. While images of the collaboration’s “Arctic Pink” colourway have been making the rounds for months now, sneakerheads are finally getting to see actual images of the “Racer Blue” pair.

A Closer Look At The Awake NY x Air Jordan 5
Though much more muted than its “Arctic Pink” counterpart, the “Racer Blue” colourway from Awake NY’s AJ 5 collaboration is by no means dull. The shoe features black tumbled leather uppers with bold blue accents and white contrast stitching to ensure there’s enough to keep things interesting. You also have the reflective silver tongues and special detailing like “A”-shaped side netting and co-branding on the tongue. Finally, an icy, semi-transparent outsole completes the shoe and complements the overall style.
