A Closer Look At Nigel Sylvester’s Air Jordan 4 “Brick by Brick”
Inspired by the red bricks of New York City, where the BMX hero began his thriving career, the shoe has a rich orange suede base with matching netting, wing tabs, and textured mudguards. Additionally, the sneaker features sail touches on the laces, midsole, “Bike Air” branding at the heel, and miniature Nike Swooshes at the forefoot for added contrast. Lastly, the shoe is presented in a brick-like, textured box that prominently displays the “Bike Air” logo on the lid.
What We Like About The Sneakers
Not only does Nigel Sylvester’s next release feature the perfect palette and material selection, but it also has plenty of meaningful details that connect back to the start of his BMX career (something we can appreciate about all of his Jordan releases thus far). It’s easy to understand why this is one of the year’s most anticipated sneaker drops.

Nike plans to release the Air Jordan 4 “Brick by Brick” on March 14, 2025, at a price of $225 USD. You can try to scoop up a pair through Nike SNKRS US, but be aware that availability could be limited due to an already restricted production run and the theft of nearly 2,000 pairs in a train heist in Perrin, Arizona, on January 13, 2025.
