It doesn’t seem long ago when we saw the “Black Cement” hue return to the shelves in 2018. The release set the sneaker world alight, mainly because it finally brought back the “Nike Air” branding on the heel, which had been glaringly absent from the previous 2008 and 2011 retro releases. Now, the legendary Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” design is set to return once again during the 2024 Holiday season. Luckily for us, it will be true to its original form.
The 2024 Remastered Look
Sneaker insiders @zsneakerheadz have revealed that the AJ3 will get the ‘Remastered’ treatment, faithfully mirroring the original 1988 design many have come to love.

This means we’ll see a throwback to the familiar “Black” tumbled leather on the upper, accented by refined “Cement Grey” detailing on the eye stays, collar and the iconic elephant print. Furthermore, the usual “Fire Red” hue will highlight the tongue and lowest eyelets again.
True to the OG, this edition will also present the “Nike Air” branding on the heel and be finished off with a “Sail” midsole and a “Cement Grey” outsole, evoking a sense of nostalgia for the golden era of Air Jordans.
