Thirty-five years back, Spike Lee brought us Do the Right Thing, a powerful film delving into racial tensions within a Brooklyn neighbourhood on a hot summer day. To honour this significant milestone, Jordan Brand has crafted a special “Do the Right Thing” Spizike Low, the ultimate tribute to the epic 1989 film.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker
This fresh colourway captures the essence of “Sal’s Famous Pizzeria” from the film, featuring a nostalgic mix of white, red, and green.
In addition, the sneaker is rich with other nods to what many consider Lee’s magnum opus. Unique touches include the 40 Acres and a Mule emblem on the tongue and a “DTRT35” tag on the sides, in honour of the film’s 35th anniversary.
The embroidery on the collar signifies that only 100 pairs are being produced, marking this an incredibly exclusive release. Furthermore, it is presented in a custom box that resembles a charred pizza box, a tribute to the film’s dramatic climax.
What We Like About The Sneakers
Numerous subtle details pay homage to Lee’s iconic film. Yet the design remains simple yet impactful, letting the unique elements truly shine.
Are The “Do the Right Thing” Spizike Lows Releasing?
Unfortunately, this version of Spike Lee’s iconic hybrid sneaker remains a friends and family release, making it unattainable for the wider public. However, film fans can still get their hands on the classic 2007 “Do the Right Thing” Spizike, adorned in white, red, and blue. This nostalgic piece is accessible on resale platforms like StockX and GOAT.
