James Whitner, the founder of The Whitaker Group, revealed a new Air Jordan 3 sneaker collaboration during an appearance on Complex’s Please Explain podcast on September 26, 2024. The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3 design closely resembles that of the Atlanta-based company’s 2019 “Hand Wash Cold” Air Force 1 series with Nike.

A Closer Look At The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3 “Hand Wash Cold”
Similar to a few of A Ma Maniére’s earlier designs, the upper is covered in dark black (this time in plush suede) with touches of purple on the heelguards and mudguards. For a somewhat worn-in look, the pair is completed with a sail midsole and translucent grey rubber outsoles.
What We Like About The Sneakers
The design appears to follow the brand’s simple yet luxurious aesthetic. The overall style is made more sophisticated by the use of premium materials like suede and touches of subtle purple accents. Let’s just hope we can anticipate the same features that made the first “Hand Wash Cold” AF1s so unique.
The Sneaker’s Release Details
Though Whitner teased the design during the Complex podcast, there is no confirmation that these A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3 “Hand Wash Cold” kicks will be released in stores. But be sure to keep an eye out for any updates or announcements in the coming months.
