Travis Scott’s foray into more vibrant colour palettes with his latest Jordan collaborations has certainly not gone unnoticed. While we can appreciate the bold aesthetic of the “Canary Yellow” Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low that dropped this May (2024), sneaker artist Huy Le (@chefhuyle) has introduced a subtle tweak that we believe elevates the design even further.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker
This custom “Canary Yellow” Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low keeps much of its original allure intact. However, Huy Le has switched up the Racer Blue accents on Scott’s iconic reverse Swooshes and laces to a fresh, crisp white. What was the inspiration behind this change? Well, it’s actually drawn from Off-White’s “Canary Yellow” Jordan 1 Retro Highs—a pair so rare it never saw an official release. This minor adjustment surprisingly makes a significant difference to the shoe’s overall look.
What We Like About The Sneakers
This custom take showcases just how transformative colour can be. We find ourselves drawn to the clean white Swooshes incorporated in this custom design. However, we also deeply respect Travis Scott’s original choice of the vibrant “Racer Blue,” a homage to his alma mater, Elkins High School.
