Jordan Brand’s 40th anniversary has already been full of surprises for sneakerheads, but what could be more unexpected than the brand’s intention to add a new “dad shoe” to its lineup with the chunky Air Jordan Lor model?

A Closer Look At The Air Jordan Lor “Cave Stone”
Sneaker leaker @kicksdong has shared an early look at the upcoming model in its Cave Stone, Enigma Stone, Ridgerock, and White colourway. The upper is made of mesh and suede, with a thick ribbed midsole below and a TPU cage on the sides that integrates with the eyestays. In terms of branding, the Jumpman emblem appears on the lace tabs and outsole, while the TPU cage and outsole underneath simply bear “Jordan” text.
What We Like About The Sneakers
The Jordan Lor model looks to be inspired by an attractive blend of classic sneakers. You can see hints of the brand’s previous Trunner design, a slight nod to choice Team Jordan shoes, and a healthy dose of inspiration from the New Balance 9060. It certainly meets the feel of a chunky “dad shoe,” but we’re waiting for Jordan Brand to clarify the technical details before we can make a final decision on whether they are worth getting excited over.
Release Details
This new Jordan silhouette’s “Cave Stone” colourway will be accessible sometime in Fall 2025, perhaps as early as August. The shoe will sell for $110 USD via Nike.com or at select Jordan stores.
