A Closer Look At The Air Jordan 5 “Wings”
The new ‘Wings’ sneaker is definitely a sight to behold, with its metallic silver satin uppers, reflective tongues, and the number 10 on the heel in honour of the Wings programme’s tenth anniversary. The sneaker also sports a tassel hang tag, a translucent outsole with a handprint graphic underneath, and the words ‘In This Family’ and ‘No One Flies Alone’ embroidered across the toes.
What We Like About The Sneakers
Though we certainly can’t deny the beauty of this sneaker, we can’t help but feel that it would look even better if the embroidered text were placed on the inside of the tongue instead of across the toe. The lettering slightly detracts from the design’s overall look, and honestly, the shiny silver uppers alone are enough to make a statement. Still, it looks like a cool RoboCop-inspired sneaker, right?

We can’t wait for the AJ5 ‘Wings’ design to grace our feet in Fall 2025. It will be available for purchase at a price of $210 USD from Nike.com and select retailers.
