Día de los Muertos sneakers have become a yearly highlight for Jordan Brand fans, and the 2025 Air Jordan 1 Low “Somos Eternos” might be one of the coolest releases yet. The name means “we are eternal,” which makes sense if you take a look at the sneaker. It’s really colorful with a touch of tradition.

Online reactions are already mixed. On Instagram, some sneakerheads are hooked: “These fire fr,” “I want them.” Others are scratching their heads. “I don’t understand the colorway,” “Box is better,” and one blunt comment: “Not shouting dia de los muertos at all for me.” That kind of mixed response usually means the sneakers won’t sit on shelves very long.

The Air Jordan 1 Low “Somos Eternos” blends soft creams, cotton-candy blues, and playful pinks from laces to outsole. The Swoosh steals the show with a cobblestone-like texture in pink and gray, perforated edges giving it extra depth. On the tongue, a square pink leather patch features a debossed sun icon, a nod to marigolds that guide spirits home during Día de los Muertos. Metal ring eyelets hint at rose-gold, and cream underlays keep the palette grounded. A black insole carries a skull-and-flower graphic to drive the theme home.

Even the box looks pretty special. Black with gold “Somos Eternos” branding, a Jumpman logo, and a sticker of two curling candle flames forming “23” make it more than packaging. You might even stare at it longer than the sneaker itself.

Japan gets first dibs on September 8 through atmos, but most of the world will see the release closer to the holiday, around late October or early November. Prices range from $135 to $145 depending on where you live, and the sneakers will land on the SNKRS app and select retailers worldwide.
