In just a few short days, Jordan Brand will be releasing a reimagined “Black Toe” Air Jordan 1 design for fans of the colourway. However, for those who sadly catch an L on this much-anticipated release, the new Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Toe” design could be the best comfort buy.

A Closer Look At The Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Toe”
This version of the “Black Toe” AJ1 has a lower cut than its predecessor, but the differences extend beyond collar height. The design includes black nubuck on the toe, eyestays, and Swoosh, as well as a jewel-like Wings logo on the heel that sets this style apart. One final change in appearance comes from using black on the tongue instead of the traditional white.
The remainder of the design is fairly standard, with red leather at the ankle and heel, white leather at the base, and a white midsole and red rubber outsole beneath.
What We Like About The Sneakers
Because of its connections to the original design from 1985, Jordan Brands’ “Black Toe” releases have consistently been greeted with tremendous fan enthusiasm. However, the black nubuck accents throughout certainly add to the appeal of this particular design. It feels a little more upscale compared to regular leather, but it all boils down to personal taste.
Release Details
The low-top version of the popular colourway will be available on Nike.com and at select Jordan retailers in spring 2025. However, exact release details and pricing have not yet been determined.
