The very talented John Trottier, known by his Instagram handle @johnnyskicks_, has amassed a substantial following on social media thanks to his unique custom and concept sneaker designs. His latest venture? A Jordan Jumpman Jack concept drawing inspiration from the iconic “Wu-Tang” Dunks of 1999.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker
With Nike set to re-release this legendary sneaker in September, we’ve already seen several reimagined pairs showcasing the Wu-Tang Clan’s distinct yellow and black scheme. Yet, you can’t deny that Travis Scott’s signature kicks wear these colours surprisingly well.
The base of this pair is covered in black canvas, with yellow tumbled leather on the overlays. Scott’s signature reversed Swooshes are then made from a double layer of black and yellow leather.
From there, the model’s familiar face branding adorns the heel, while the Wu-Tang logo on the ankle pays respect to the famed Dunk pair. Finally, rounding off the look, is a white midsole and a yellow outsole.
What We Appreciate About The Sneakers
Despite being a straightforward translation of the Wu-Tang Dunks aesthetic (with some material changes, of course), Scott’s signature shoes look undeniably stunning in this bold colour scheme.
Is The Jordan Jumpman Jack “Wu-Tang” Available For Purchase?
Unfortunately, these stunning sneakersare just a concept and aren’t readily available for purchase. However, if you’d like to see them brought to life, consider reaching out to Trottier for more information. But if that doesn’t work out, you can always customise your own pair using Angelus Direct Paint.
